Welcome to Plurn! This Terms of Service (“Agreement”) governs your use of our application and services. By accessing or using Plurn, you agree to the terms outlined below. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.
1. Overview of Services
Plurn is a community application designed for outdoor and hiking enthusiasts. It provides a space where:
Users can share photos, posts, and stories;
The Plurn team publishes official videos, articles, and announcements;
An AI-powered hiking assistant provides insights, tips, and guidance related to hiking activities;
Members can interact, comment, and contribute user-generated content (“UGC”).
Our mission is to provide a safe, engaging, and knowledge-sharing community for outdoor lovers.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) to use Plurn. By creating an account or using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information provided is accurate and complete.
3. Account Registration & Responsibilities
To access community features, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to:

Keep your login credentials confidential;
Accept full responsibility for all activities conducted under your account;
Notify us immediately of unauthorized access or suspected breaches.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this Agreement.
4. User-Generated Content (UGC)
You retain ownership of content you post, including photos, text, and media. However, by posting on Plurn, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, host, reproduce, modify, distribute, and display your content for operating and promoting the Services.
You agree not to post content that:
Violates intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights;
Contains hate speech, harassment, threats, or abusive material;
Is unlawful, misleading, or harmful (including spam, malware, or scams);
Contains sexually explicit or inappropriate material unrelated to hiking or community topics.
We reserve the right to moderate or remove content at our discretion.
5. Official Content
In addition to UGC, Plurn may publish official materials such as:
Articles, guides, and safety tips;
Training or event announcements;
Videos and visual content produced by the Plurn team.
These materials are intended for educational and community purposes and should not replace professional training or certified outdoor guidance.
6. AI Hiking Assistant
Plurn provides an AI-powered chatbot that offers hiking-related suggestions, safety reminders, and educational tips.
Please note:
AI responses are automatically generated and may not always be accurate or up to date;
The AI is intended for informational purposes only and should not replace professional guidance, medical advice, or emergency services;
You are solely responsible for your decisions and actions during hiking or outdoor activities.
7. Community Guidelines
To keep Plurn safe and welcoming, users agree to:
Treat others with respect and courtesy;
Share authentic, constructive, and relevant content;
Report harmful or inappropriate behavior;
Avoid misuse of the platform for advertising or self-promotion without authorization.
Violations may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent account termination.
8. Privacy & Data Protection
Your privacy matters to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information. Key principles include:

We make no guarantees that:
The Services will always function without interruption or errors;
User or AI-generated content will be accurate, reliable, or safe;
Outdoor or hiking advice provided will apply to your specific situation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Plurn shall not be liable for any damages, including but not limited to:
Injuries, accidents, or losses incurred during hiking or outdoor activities;
Reliance on AI advice, user content, or official content;
Data loss, unauthorized access, or account misuse.
11. Termination
You may stop using Plurn at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you:
Violate this Agreement or applicable laws;
Post harmful or prohibited content;
Engage in fraudulent or abusive activity.
Termination does not affect rights and obligations accrued before termination.
12. Updates & Modifications
We may update this Agreement at any time. If significant changes are made, we will notify you through in-app messages or email. Continued use of Plurn after updates means you accept the revised terms.
13. Governing Law
This Agreement will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of your country of residence, unless otherwise required by applicable local regulations.
